Recently it was published that Ireland are top for Freedom of the press. IN one of the paper one of the journalists unions I believe the NUJ. State that it was still not free and that the Libel laws were to tight and should be loosened. Well considering that they had no problem releasing a story so defamatory and wrong without due consideration well maybe the libel laws are not strong enough. Because they were not tough enough to make them think twice. The editors should resign this ratings grabing crap is for the tabloids not the broadsheets. But then again maybe the indo finally has come a tabloid. Anyway it is now of my shopping list.

I also see they seem to have erased it from their website. Wonder why?
