This particular case has really pissed me off. From the Sunday Times
MORE than 20 babies have been aborted in advanced pregnancy because scans showed that they had club feet, a deformity readily corrected by surgery or physiotherapy.
According to figures from the Office for National Statistics covering the years from 1996 to 2004, a further four babies were aborted because they had webbed fingers or extra digits, which are also corrected by simple surgery. All the terminations took place late in pregnancy, after 20 weeks.

This desire that people have for the perfect children is quiet disturbing really. But what is perfect. Some of the greatest people throughout history have been disabled. Einstein was dyslexic, Lord Byron had club feet and yet there is such a stigma still around disabilities in this county and by the above story also in

It is down to the capitalistic commoditisation of human beings as “units” “goods” etc. The predominance of market values over values of our shared humanity.
If that doesnt look “right” to you, send it back. Get your money back. Return to Sender.
