It must surely be one of the most unique sentences ever commited to any medium of communication but Kathy Bates’ naked ass is well worth watching tonight at 9 on Channel 4. Yes indeed, About Schmidt, a film where Ms. Bates exposes herself to us and Jack Nicholson is brilliantly likeable and unlikeable, suddenly afloat and lost in the world, is well worth your viewing consideration. Followed by Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’, the double bill struck me as a fine mix and worth mentioning here.
