I am many things but I am not a puritan. For God’s sake man, I have previously posted pink and purple fluff jokes on this very blog.

However you are entitled to your opinion.

Equally, you are entitled to use whatever English dictionary you want. However, just so you know, using the phrase “ranking with the likes of” does constitute a comparison in the dictionaries used by the rest of us.

You might want to make a note of that.
