This year we ran the dossing times fantasy Football league by mistake we left it open for anyone to enter it even if they are not a reader of the blog. We got 230 people in the league and guess who is top. Me. Yaaaaaaaaaaa. Somehow I am top of the league by 67 points. Indeed I am top of the 6 leagues I am in including politics.ie‘ s league and Iain Dales. I am 453 out of 1,597,785, 23 highest Villa Fan and 55th in Ireland. So how you ask. I really have no idea i am not a great football fan, I have not watched a full football match in a year or two. My extent of football following is checking the results. And even though I say I am a villa fan I probably could just about name the starting 11. So how am I top of the dossing league?

My scientific vanity would like to say it is because I take a statistical look at it. Evra might be 10 times the player Wes Brown is but they still get the same points for a clean sheet. Man U are going to score more against Derby then Arsenal are against Spurs and so I apply that logic to it. I also check out the form of the players to see what they are scoring in the previous 5 matches. However recent attempts to apply this logic to tuathal’s team in an attempt to boost his place as well has proved less then successful. So a s much as it pains me to say it. I guess it is luck.
