Dear god, let this be a pasing comment having taken on a life of its own - if ever an edit job was needed it was on the rambling final entry in the Harry Potter series - ‘The Deathly Hallows’. With literally acres of paper put to waste on red herrings, pointless exposition and a ridiculous ending, I cannot imagine a lesser deserving entry in the series to earn two movies.
