Now I have little praise for Daniel Craigs debut as Bond and I place the burden firmly on the producers to prove I judged in haste with this years follow up. Off the starting blocks, choosing Marc Foster (Finding Neverland, Monsters Ball) has me intrigued. I want to save words such as perplexed for todays announcement that the movie will go by the title ‘Quantum of Solace’. The title is taken from a short story of Ian Fleming’s in which the spy does feature, however the plot of the story is one of a couple telling a story of the wearisome nature of life at a dinner party! The rumoured plot of the movie is one set amidst a coup in South America so other than respect for the work of Fleming, similarities look to be few and far between. Any extra details beyond this very unmarketable title I will be sure to keep you informed.
