FactCheck.org is a nonpartisan, nonprofit website that describes its own goal as “[reducing] the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics”. It is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation. It has been named one of the Top 10 who are Changing the Internet and Politics in a poll organised by Politics Online. I have linked here to an analysis of the most recent Democrat debate where Hilary Clinton and Obama Barack were presenting a unified front, and FactCheck undertakes an analysis of their love fest pointing out the factual errors, misquotes and lack of context the candidates were spouting.
