How they get the fig into the fig rolls
It is the eternal question which ranks up there with who took the horse to France. But there is an answer that I saw a few years back when a guy from Jacobs explain how it was done. This is what he explained. Basically they have a pipe in a pipe. In the inside pipe they have the fig mixture and the outside pipe they have the dough mixture. Hence at the output of the pipe they have fig mixture with dough all around it at which point they bake it. Simple.
