Marketa Irglova, who seems interminably soft spoken and embarassed to be imposing herself on our lives, didnt get  a chance to make her thanks at the Oscar ceremony this past Sunday partly due to Glen Hansard rambling on and also the ‘wrap it up’ music drowing her out. Jon Stewart, kind soul that he is brought her back out to the stage giving her a chance to deliver a nice little speech, one fitting in nicely with the aspirational, dream achieving theme of the Oscars.
