Our readership does drop off at the weekend so maybe I should have plugged this earlier in the week, nevertheless Earth Hour ‘08 occurs tonight asking businesses, citizens, basically everybody to turn off all their electricity for an hour from 8 to 9 pm. Dublin as well as other towns and cities around the country are set to take part, with those who give a dam invited to gather at the Customs House at 8 to watch the lights go out!
