He broke the number one rule in international relations by insulting one side of a dispute when there was a representative of that side in the same room. Its just not done John in civilised society let alone international politics. 2. Secondly he put principles above money and in doing so risked making this country €40bn a year less well off. People warned me that the Greens in power would be bad for the economy but that's just ridiculous. John Gormley committed the two unforgivable offenses as I see it.
