I went to the shop today to buy something and when I checked the ingrediants i saw that it contained the following E-Numbers.
E 260 E334, E396, E160a, E375, E163, E330, E363, E300, E101.
I mean that is a lot of E-numbers considering that Coke has about 2 E338 and E150d. Surely your thinking Simon that is not right that will poison you. So I decided to look at some papers coverage on E-Numbers and this just made me more afraid about what i ate. New link between E-numbers and hyperactivity (UK independent)
Additives in sweets and soft drinks made by multinational companies have been found to cause hyperactivity in children, prompting renewed calls for a ban on E-numbers.
(They had to put the multinational companies bit in) God hyperactivity in kids I know I am no spring chiken but one can not be too carefull these days. Yes we should ban E-Numbers terrible stuff that above product is an abomination on nature.
Or the Guardian E-numbers should be banned in food and drink, say MPs
The associate parliamentary food and health forum - a grouping of parliamentarians and outside experts such as nutritionists, doctors and the food industry - says at the end of a year-long inquiry that the Food Standards Agency should be taking a tougher line on E-numbers and additives, which some studies suggest may over-stimulate children’s brains and make them hyperactive. They also want pregnant women to be advised to eat more oily fish and for breakfast clubs in schools to be funded by government.
Oh god even worse although not pregnant or a woman fuck!!!!
We should go back to a time when we lived more naturally. Without these E-numbers.
The thing is the above papers are talking crap. The above item with the 10 E-numbers above is not new some crazy soft drink or mental causing sweets. It is ??? Answer below fold

Yes people it is an Apple. An Apple contains the following
Acetic Acid (E260), Tartaric Acid (E334), Malic Acid (E396), Carotene (E160a), Niacin (E375), Anthocyanin (E163), Citric Acid (E330), Succinic Acid (E363), Vitamin C (E300) and Riboflavin (E101).
So are you shocked? Hopefully not I thinking our Dossing Times readers have a little more cop on then the headline writers of the Guardian and Independent. E numbers are simply a list of chemical compounds that are present in food and approved by the European Union. (hence the E). Some like Sunset yellow have dangers around them and their are being further investigated. But these are a small minority of E numbers. The vast majority are prefectly safe and yet listening to the media you would think they are somewhat evil that all E-Numbers should be avoided. Clearly this is just rubbish that people are spouting. E-numbers are just a clasification.
