Say x=y
Therefore
x2 = xy.
So if you take the same from both sides.
x2 - y2 = xy - y2.
Now divide both sides by (x-y)
We get
x + y = y
Now as x=y we can say.
2y=y
Divide by y
We get 2=1
Subtract 1from both we get
1=0.
So what is the problem with the proof? Answer tomorrow
From the Irish TImes.
“Having heard an interview with one of the victims in the case, who was clearly distressed by my letter and having considered the matter and discussed it with colleagues, I now accept that it was inappropriate for a TD to have become involved in any way in a case of such seriousness.

Season 3 of the only show two mates of mine have grown to like, having initially disliked, both of whom are usually steely in their determination to judge on first impressions, returns on Monday night to RTE 2. Good escapist fun, a great line up of cameos, ‘Entourage’ has a similarly important role of bringing [...]
I’m gona put this out there - I think Jonathan Pryce was the last great Bond villain. Sophie Marceau was a wonder in ‘The World is Not Enough’ though there was no escaping how Robert Carlyle was wasted, I would rather eat glass than than watch the race switching pompousness of Toby Stephens in ‘Die [...]
One of my favorite quotes from the Simpson’s is this one
Homer: In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics!
The law which he is referring to is that energy cannot be destroyed only changed from one form to another. Basically you can’t make energy. Hence why Steorn could not get their perpetual motion machine [...]

The American Supreme Court yesterday upheld Kentucky’s method of execution by lethal injection, rejecting the claim that officials there administered a common sequence of three drugs in a manner that posed an unconstitutional risk that a condemned inmate would suffer acute yet undetectable pain.
In the current cases … the constitutionality of the death penalty is [...]

God bless those people at The Onion - how they make me laugh. Having picked up my Iron Man tickets this morning, this smart ‘news’ clip from the Onion News Network, caught my eye, parodying the fact that trailers are so often better than the final outcome.

Finally some bit of newsworthiness to get the Lisbon Treaty as a topic of conversation amongst the people. 60% of people are still undecided as to how they will vote, largely due to a lacjk of information. The Referendum Commission has been established for over a month now and done little more than make apologies [...]
