Originally there was a joint bid on the cards, but since the current hosts have come under question it has nly been touted for Scotland.
There si defintiely room for Ireland to co-host (at least we'd qualify!) as Scotland have only four of the required eight stadia at present.
From an Irish perspective it would unfortunately be a Dubln only event. Croker and Landsdowne. Therte's no way a 60,000 seater would be built in time in Cork and I can't see any other Irish venue passing the Uefa standard.
