TV schedulers seem to have some sort of vendetta against airing quality TV shows and movies at reasonable times. Tonight BBC2 show the Beatles movie ‘A Hard Days Night’, followed by a double bill of ‘Arrested Development’ from 11.45 while prime time tomorrow night on RTE 1 is given over to the horse manure that is ‘Failte Towers’ while an absolute classic ‘Five Easy Pieces’ starring Jack Nicholson is relegated to 1.45. Both line ups are worth the stingy eye sensation should you be a creature of the night or simply crave good entertainment.
