So with TV3 having scraped the bottom of the barrels of UK broadcasters output to fill up their Autumn schedule, they had some money left over to pump into the Irish version of ‘The Apprentice’. We got word in my office in Dublin last week that filming was going on in nearby O’Connell St and the collective consensus was that we can expect car crash TV and people would watch for no other reason that to see how bad it was. As my office mates have just spent their summers watching Big Brother I want to give little as possible credence to their opinions on TV, let alone anything else, however they are correct in suggesting there is an expectation of doom, low quality production value and poor imitation. Bill Cullen takes on the reins as the business mogul offering a E 100, 000 a year job as the prize for the winner.

When to watch: Tomorrow (Monday), 9pm, TV3
